Gartner interviewed more than 800 HR leaders from different countries and industries and asked them about the priorities and challenges they expect for 2023.

Having well-prepared leaders within your team can make a difference. 60% of the leaders surveyed indicated that the development of effective leadership is the main challenge to be faced by 2023.

In recent years, constant change has been one of the biggest challenges we have faced both inside and outside the workplace. Forty-five percent of managers interviewed said that their employees are tired of change and that many have lost their willingness to cooperate when it occurs. 

One way Gartner proposes to reduce change stress and fatigue is to adopt a change strategy that is open to the entire team. Involving employees in the company's future plans rather than just telling them that they will happen. 

Employee experience

As we have already discussed, retaining our employees is an important point for the proper development of your company's activities. Retaining the best talent involves much more than just providing good pay. 44% of HR leaders believe that their organizations do not offer a career path that is worth their employees' tenure.

Thinking about the future of your employees and planning a path for their professional growth will reduce turnover and help you build a stable team that truly believes in the company's values.

Recruitment

Forty-six percent of managers believe that the recruitment process should be a priority, of which 36% consider that their current sources for finding the required profiles are not the most suitable.

Having a recruitment team in your company is very valuable, however it is often left in the background.
